"What in the world is geocaching (gee-oh-cash-ing)?"
It's a sport, a hobby, a game, an adventure, an obsession, and alot of fun! Geocaches are hidden all over the planet (yes, even in your neighborhood!) and players use a hand-held GPS unit to locate them.

"What is a cache?"
A cache can be a container, a point of interest, a historical location, an event, or the viewfinder of a webcam. Most caches are actual containers, ranging in size from micro to large, which contain a log book and often some treasures and trade items. Players can take a trade item and leave one of their own in its place. Caches are hidden and/or camouflaged to make the hunt more challenging and to avoid accidental discovery by non-players (muggles), as many are located in public places.

LizardFoot Stones
LizardFoot Stones are just my own personal contribution to the sport of geocaching. I sell my painted totem stones at shows, galleries, and retail stores around the country and I decided to make a special "signature"-style stone to distribute in geocaches. These are NOT
trackable items (although I may decide to do that in the future!).
You can identify an original LizardFoot Stone by the fact that it is painted on both sides.....a lizard on one side, and a cute little foot on the other side! These are the only totem stones that I paint on both sides.
So, if you happen to come across a LizardFoot Stone in a geocache you are welcome to keep it for yourself or pass it along to another player in a different cache.
This is the card you will find with every
original LizardFoot Stone I deposit in a geocache.
